One feels like they are in the shop with George! Read about his escapades with fast cars and motorbikes. Excerpt - "In January 1969. we had severe cold and lots of snow. I was driving the wrecker. It became pretty tough slugging, I was starting to get stuck myself, so I decided to go back to the shop. It was - 20 below, very cold. When I opened the shop door to put the truck inside ... there was a lot of banging going-on water pipes had froze-up. The older buildings were not insulated, for this was a rare occurrence. I thought I would head home for the day. I had a load of sand in the box of the '49 and chains on the tires. I safely got home. I must say my '53 Chev didn't survive too we that winter. The building where I had it stored, collapsed, crushing my car! I sold the motor, as that was all that was worth anything." George experiences working for, and managing auto body shops in different areas, and takes you through the business of it. A lot of good vehicle information and know-how in this memoir.
