The timeless classic. Although it is no longer acceptable in many places to feed waterfowl for fun, ducks awaken a sharing spirit in most children. Young ones will cheer the family as they innocently stop traffic on their way to their new home. My only quibble - by the time children can read this book on their own, they may consider themselves too old. A perfect read-aloud, then, and the magnificent illustrations are second-to-none, reminding us that less is more.

Fabulous Book
My 2 and 3 year olds love this book. We read it almost every night. We have to go out and feed the ducks peanuts - just like in the book! The pictures are great and the story is so wonderful. Great for kids - nice and simple.
