This is a book that I purchased for my 11-year-old daughter for her birthday. She is an avid reader and has read many stories of saints, many folktales, and other similar types of books. This one is by far already a favorite. She is on her second reading and she has only had the book for 3 weeks. The pictures are beautifully done and the stories are short enough to make reading one or two stories enjoyable. I highly recommend this book for an addition to your history lessons, or to give some instruction on Britain's history, or just for an enjoyable book to read.
