Lightly humorous, this book is a simple read. It stirs up interest in Greek mythology for those who know little about it. I enjoyed it, though I wouldn't call it FANTASTIC. I think the target audience is for older women of intelligence who happen to have a family. Atwood mixes poetry and prose together and makes the culture Penelope in very easy to understand. I like the twist on myth, modernism, and feminism.
