Perhaps Camilla Haven unintentionally invoked the gods that afternoon in the crowded Athens cafe when she wrote to a friend, "Nothing ever happens to me." But a few hours later, an extraordinary train of events had dispatched Camilla to Delphi, to be in the company of a charming but quietly determined Englishman named Simon Lester. Intrigue, love, and treasure in Delphi! This is only the fourth of Mary Stewart's books I've read, but it's one of my favorites.

EXCELLENT READING
Mary Stewart is a fabulous writer. I love all of her stories and have been rereading them for 45 years. My Brother Michael is one of her best! She is one of the all-time great authors!
