It's an ordinary Thursday morning for Arthur Dent until his house gets demolished. The Earth follows shortly afterwards to make way for a new hyperspace bypass and his best friend has just announced that he's an alien. At this moment, they're hurtling through space with nothing but their towels and an innocuous-looking book inscribed in large, friendly letters with the words: DON'T PANIC. An international phenomenon and a pop-culture classic, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has been a radio show, TV series, stage play, comic book and film, and is a work of true comic genius. It was the first Pan Original to sell more than one million copies.

Easily one of my favorite books. Fantastic British Humor and Wonderful One Liners.

This book is probably one of the funniest things I've ever read! Even if you aren't a big sci-fi fan, the humorous conundrums of Arthur Dent, Ford Prefect, Trillian, and Zaphod Beeblebrox will amuse.

Hitchhikers
What could possibly be better than Douglas Adams' extraordinary tale read by one of the funniest sharp men of recent times - Stephen Fry. This is the motion picture version of the inspired creative tale of a simple man - Arthur Dent - who is suddenly thrust from armchair to other world in this movie version of the tale.
