Very well written mystery, many twists and turns. Romance. It is hard to believe this story was written 100 years ago. The author describes the scenes so well that you can place yourself in the middle of them. Enjoy the story.

great mystery
This story was well written and held my interest. It was not just a mystery; like most good literature, it also included a romance. Trent first came to a wrong conclusion but later learned the truth. The happy ending had a slight surprise that added ironic humor.

OK
Very dated mystery story. It did not hold my interest. Perhaps, someone commiting suicide and making it look like murder was new at the time it was written. However, I do not think that was the case.
