This is a story of psychological suspense, not really a "ghost" story. It concerns a family and marriage in crisis. The premise of the story is very interesting as it covers the same occurances from the different perspectives of the main characters and these each end up being colored quite differently. As I approached the end I was pretty sure at least one of these characters, (and perhaps all!) were quite insane. This was a very interesting approach to the story. The reason I only give it two stars is because I never really bought into any of the characters, or really cared all that much about any of them. It also gets bogged down in the language quite a lot. A much better sample of this authors skill can be found in "The Egyptologist".
