By far my favorite Wright brother and one that visits in some of Cherry's later books. It always gives me a little thrill when I see him mentioned in other stories :) Tally was one of my favorite heroines as well but I'm not sure how much of that had to do with my love for Michael! Lol either way, fabulous book as usual!

Not Her Best, But Still Cherry Adair!
Having read many of Adair's later novels, I was shocked to see this novel in the discount, $3 bin at a nearby used bookstore. Happily shocked at my good fortune, of course, but shocked nonetheless. After reading it though, I could see why someone would discard it in such a fashion. Had this been the first Cherry Adair novel I picked up, I would likely have not read any more. The plot is typical of Adair, combining gorgeous men, women, and places, adventure, intrigue, and betrayal, but the plot devices seem weak at times (e.g. Tally slipping and catching herself on the waist of Michael's shorts). If you can get past certain...improbibilities, this book makes for an enjoyable read. I would recommend this novel to a seasoned Adair fan looking to complete their collection, but probably not to a first time reader.
