I gave copies of this book to my grown children after reading. I wished I had run across this book when they were little.

Read and Practice
This is definitely a great buy. As you read the book, it tells you to do these different activities which you should because it really does help you. This is not a book that you just sit down and read it all at once. You have to read a bit of it, stop and then come back to it as stated by the author of the book. You'll be told when to do it as you read it. It teaches you how we look at things and how children look at things.

Very helpful, immediately applicable information, with many examples of how to use constructive communication with children. Good for all the kids in your life. How to avoid the power-play dilemma.
