Frontispiece b/w portrait photograph of Fullwood in WW1 uniform. Original publisher's cloth binding in black with silver lettering at spine. Dust jacket design in black & white, with colourillustration '15th Brigade, 5th Division, Headquarters, Heilly 1918. ' B/w photograph of the author on rear flap of dust jacket. /Michael Allan March Stennett (1946-2020) was a British stage designer. Commissions for numerous productions included Australian Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, & The Royal Shakespeare Company. By 1994, Stennett retired from the theatre to concentrate on painting. His portraits include a number of studies of Dame Joan Sutherland and in 1993, H.M. the Queen commissioned a portrait drawing of Sutherland for the Order of Merit series at Windsor Castle. In 2004, Stennett was commissioned to do a portrait drawing of Canon John White, Precentor of St George's Chapel, Windsor. As an artist, he had his first solo show at Suffolk's Aldeburgh Theatre Gallery in 1999 with a second the following year, also showing at Adonis Art Gallery, London. His works are in the Royal Collection; the Victoria & Albert Theatre Museum; the New York Public Library and several performing arts museums around the world. He lived at Plantation Cottage, Yoxford, Suffolk, and died at his home on 23 June 2020. Very good indeed in very good indeed dust jacket.
