This is a lovely book for probably ages 2 and up. Great use of imagination. Don't know why I never knew about it when our kids were younger.

small version of an old book
I like the large version better. Maybe sellers don't remember the first publication, but I do. I wish they would say it's small.

Birthday gift
The book came very quickly which was giood to see. My grandson will receive it for his 1st birthday and like most first year boys he will like it. He is learning purple well also. So I'm sure he will like my reading it to him.

A Delicious Book for Children
Written in the 1950s, this timeless book is a delight for young children and for the child in all of us. Line drawings in purple create a world that beautifully demonstrates the magic of imagination.

Imaginative
Harold is a very imaginative little boy drawing his way to find his home so he can go to sleep. Cannot go wrong with this book.
