Seller's Description:
NF in NF jacket. Quarto. Black cloth covered boards and spine with shiny silver foil lettering on the spine and a shiny silver foil Thames and Hudson illustration on the front board. Very slight bumping at the head and tail of the spine. White endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 215 pages. Illustrated with a handsome color gallery of Bacon's portraiture. Glossy, high quality clay coated paper stock. Dust Jacket has light rubbing at the very tip of the upper rear outside corner and a nearly unnoticable trace of rubbing at the tips of the other three outside corners. Tiny chip in the lower edge of the front cover, about 3/4" out from the tail of the spine-small enough that an untrained eye might not notice it at all. Jacket otherwise clean, bright, and sharp. Rare.
