She then drank some water, and when she had scoured her brass dishes, and washed her hands, and face, and mouth, she lay down and slept until it was time to dress her Lady. And now I will tell you what her Lady said to her when she came in; for she had seen every thing that had passed, and had sent a servant after the poor woman with some rice, and a piece of coarse cloth for a sheet.
