Also included is coverage of image restoration, enhancement, classification and data merging and new sensor systems such as the Large Format Camera, solid-state linear arrays, the Shuttle Imaging radar systems, the Landsat Thematic Mapper, the SPOT satellite system and the NOAA Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer. Imaging spectrometry and lidar systems are covered. The book is also extensively illustrated throughout.
