I have tried several sources of nutritional suggestions and this one gives me the best results in terms of how healthy my body looks and feels. The author sometimes uses too many technical medical terms, especially disease names, but if one takes the time to look them all up the book is very helpful as a whole. I especially like that the chapters are presented roughly in order of importance.

Best book on nutrition
This is the best book on nutrition ever written. She is so right and so spot on on addressing every single problem of the body with proper nutritional education. This book should be used in schools, should be in every household. Absolutely vital for anyone.

Buy more than one!
This is absolutely the best book on nutrition I've ever read. This book is out of print which is why I recommend purchasing more than one. It was already apparent, in 1954 when this book was written, that our commercially grown food did not have the nutrients needed for optimal health. This book addresses issues and health concerns, that differ from books written in subsequent years in that she gives simpler solutions.. She is the best!

LONG TIME FAVORITE
I've had my trusty "Let's Eat Right To Keep Fit" with me since the early 1970's. The detailed nutritional info Adelle Davis provided is still timely today. My paperback was dog-earred and yellowed - pages falling out daily. Buy it in hard cover. Keep it forever.
