This book is terrific. It was a great transition between the first and last and introduced new characters. You will enjoy it.

The author James Dashner, is a wonderful writer who's Maze Runner world is one I love travailing to. When I read The Maze Runner the first time I fell in love with the characters. Thomas, Teresa, and all the rest of them, but my love only grew by reading the second book, The Scorch Trials.
Having Escaped from the Maze, and being taken by people who fear them more than WICKED, Thomas, Teresa, and all the other Gladers are taken to somewhere to rest. But, when Teresa disappears and a man from WICKED sends them into the Scorch,the trouble has only begun.
Through a 100 miles of desert, many lies, love, brutal treatment, and betrayal, they reach what they are told is safe.
Despite WICKED's promises, the Gladers still have to obey WICKED to save themselves and everyone who still lives.
Fantastic read for anyone who loved the first book or 'The Hunger Games' series by Suzanne Collins
