Balliet and Miss Mary A. Spear, of the Cook County Normal School - the latter for merly of Quincy - have been invaluable. The writer has had before her continually that vast number of teachers who believe that education is the realization of the highest possibilities of the child, and who are working unceasingly to make it such to them she dedicates this book.
