One of Georgette Heyer's best. Endearing characters, historical accuracy within the fictitious story, varied plot, funny dialogue, gentle and wholesome romance. As always, easy reading for young teenagers, enough wit and period detail for the sophisticated adult able to enjoy intelligent escape literature. My sister is a Harvard grad and she loved it! Laughed all the way through, she said.
