this is about rock climbing

Hal Breedlove has been missing for eleven years. Lt. Leaphorn, now retired, was the officer in charge of the missing person report. His body has now been found--on the side of a mountain. Breedlove had evidently fallen to his death while climbing Shiprock, an accident, or was it? This is also the end of Janet Pete as Chee's girlfriend, and the very beginnings of a romance with Bernadette Manuelito, a tribal police officer whose boss happens to be acting Lt. Jim Chee. A very good, believable story with several killings, and a modern rustler on the reservation.
