She has also spoken at college psychology, and women's studies courses. she has given Keynote Addresses to high school and career training graduates, and at writing conferences. She has been a staff writer for a local entertainment magazine. While writing her first book, she launched Nubian Images Publishing. She has written three award winning books, one journal, and has successfully written and directed three plays. staged in her community.
