Tony Soper

Tony Soper is a writer and broadcaster. After a first career in radio and television for the BBC's Natural History Unit, he travels in search of wilderness islands and their wildlife. As expedition leader and naturalist lecturer he circumnavigated the Arctic Ocean on icebreakers and research vessels. His published works concentrate on marine wildlife, islands, and the seashore. His field guides to the Arctic and the Antarctic are in every intrepid polar traveller's backpack.
