Deve Gowda; Keeping Faith with the Mother Tongue: The Anxieties of a Local Culture ; Pickles from Home: The Worlds of a Bilingual ; and in Kannada, Kittale, Nerale, Perale: Avasarakke Yetukida Maatu Baraha , which won him the ViChi literary prize.
