Steve Friess, author of Gay Vegas, first moved to Las Vegas in 1996 to work for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. A former contributing writer for The Advocate, Friess has also covered gay topics forUSA Today, the New York Times, Newsweek, and dozens of other major periodicals.
