Starr Ockenga

Ockenga is a writer, photographer, designer, and educator. She received her master's degree in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and has been granted fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Artists Foundation. Formerly an associate professor of photography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she currently operates a studio in Manhattan and gardens in upstate New York.
