Robert Snow lives in a small isolated village in Dorset in the South West of England. He is an ex-military man having spent a number of years in the army until he was medically discharged because of a serious spinal injury. He now works free-lance editor and proof-reader. Robert has always had a keen interest in history and in particular his own family history which can be traced back many hundreds of years. This diary was copied word for word and the spelling is exactly as in the original handwritten version. Robert has been in possession of the diary for a number of years since he inherited it when his grandfather Dr Richard Clay died. it is a fascinating book to read and he has decided that it would be nice to share it with other people who might have the same interest and fascination with times gone by.
