Sutton received his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from The University of Michigan and has served on the Stanford faculty since 1983. He has served as professor at the Haas Business School, a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, a Fellow at IDEO, an advisor to McKinsey & Company, and faculty at the World Economic Forum at Davos.
