Robert Gannon
Robert Gannon, S.J. , a Jesuit priest, was the President of Fordham University from 1936 to 1949. He received a doctorate in sacred theology at Gregorian University, Rome, and a master's from Cambridge University. He was the author of several books including After Black Coffee , The Cardinal Spellman Story , and The Technique of the One-Act Play .
