Robert C. Atkins

Robert C. Atkins, MD , (1930-2003) was the founder and executive medical director of the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine in New York City. A 1951 graduate of the University of Michigan, he received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical School in 1955 and went on to specialize in cardiology.
