Rex Forehand, PhD, is the Ansbacher Endowed Professor of Psychological Science and University Distinguished Professor at the University of Vermont. He is an internationally recognized expert on parenting, especially as it relates to the development and treatment of child problem behavior. Through his teaching, research, and writing, Dr. Forehand, a licensed clinical psychologist, has made significant contributions to advance treatment and self-help for parents. He has published over 400 articles, book chapters, and books on these topics and trained generations of researchers and clinicians focused on well-being of children.
