Philip Gibbs

British writer and war reporter Philip Gibbs (1877-1962) is most known for his coverage of World War I. Later, he worked for the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Express after beginning his career as a correspondent for the Daily Chronicle. He was embedded with British forces and covered the main engagements on the Western Front throughout the conflict.
