Peggy Walls is a member of several historical, lineage and writing societies: Tohopeka Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Alabama Historical Association, Tallapoosee Historical Society, Alabama Writers' Forum, National League of American Penwomen, Alabama's Writers Conclave and Alabama State Poetry Association.
