Michael Brooke is something of a legend in the skateboarding world. As publisher of Concrete Wave Magazine, he describes himself as a skater turned publisher. He started International Longboarder in 1999 - then launched Concrete Wave in 2002. He merged International Longboarder with CW in 2003. He is as intently passionate about the written word as he is about skateboarding.
