Mason Houghland

Mason Houghland settled in Brentwood, Tennessee, near Nashville, where he started the Spur Oil Company. He founded the Hillsboro Hounds in 1932 and served as Master and huntsman. He founded the founded the Iroquois Steeplechase in 1941. He died in 1959.
