One of his interests includes highlighting the importance of people's social connections to community unity. After witnessing a cultural presentation by the Kwantlen First Nation in British Columbia, Canada, Tateh was reminded of experiences in Africa. It inspired him to work toward preserving the Nweh language, tradition, and customs and to write Panoramic Explorations of Nweh Rituals and Performance Language. This is his first book.
