Madhurima likes to think of herself as a story teller as she is fascinated by the art of storytelling. She loves writing poetry and short stories. She has also been actively involved in theatre. She received the I.C. Nanda award for her contribution to theatre by Punjab Rangmanch, Batala (regd.) and the prestigious Mohan Rakesh Samman from Sahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi.
