Karen Pritchett

Karen Pritchett was born in Punxsutawney, Penn. (think Groundhog Day!), went to college in Pittsburgh, and then moved to Brooklyn. In addition to being a college professor teaching art for fashion design at FIT and at Pratt Institute in New York City, she owns and operate a bed & breakfast in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. She is the illustrator for a variety of children's books including The Secret Garden, Grimm's Fairty Tales, and The Gift.
