Jesse L White

Jesse L. White, Jr., is a research professor in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he was director of the Office of Economic and Business Development (2004-2011). He served as co-chairman of the Appalachian Regional Commission (1993-2002) and led the Southern Growth Policies Board (1982-1990).
