Jeron Ashford works as a librarian in a graduate school, but her real love is for children's literature. Her first picture book, Yesterday I Had the Blues , won the Ezra Jack Keats Award and was featured on PBS' Between the Lions . She lives with her cat outside of Philadelphia.
