Jeffrey Gage was born in Montreal, Quebec, but as a baby his family moved to the Toronto, Ontario area. He spent his early childhood years there before moving to Florida. He spent about five years in Florida, then briefly moved back to Ontario. Shortly after moving to Ontario, his family's green card paperwork came through and they moved to Columbia, South Carolina, where they've lived ever since. The Guardian Awakens is his debut novel, and the first installment of The Guardian Trilogy. He currently has two books in the editing stages and is writing two other books. His whole life he wanted to write, but it seemed life always got in the way. So why did he finally get around to writing a novel? One day at work his boss asked him what he always wanted to be when he grew up. He thought for a moment then replied that he'd always wanted to be an author. When she asked him why he wasn't, well, Jeffrey simply couldn't come up with an answer. This question nagged at him for a few months. Finally he said "what the heck" and started writing The Guardian Awakens and hasn't stopped writing since. He still works a "day job" as a Planner/Scheduler in a manufacturing plant, but when he's not at work he allows himself to be sucked into his writing. Jeffrey was born in 1977, has two older brothers and two young nephews. In 1996 his son was born and remains the light of his life. He was married at the time but is now divorced. Most of Jeffrey's extended family still lives in Canada, so he and his mother make a trip to the "homeland" every fall to visit everyone. He looks forward to this trip all year. I also have a website devoted to my books. It can be found at http: //... - check it out! See less
