J.W. Dunne
Born in 1875, J.W. Dunne was of mixed English and Irish descent. He became a soldier and pioneer aeronaut, before retiring through ill health and taking to dry-fly fishing. He is best known for his later book on precognitive dreams, time and consciousness, An Experiment with Time.
