Imre Goldstein
Imre Goldstein was born in Budapest in 1938. Moving to the United States in 1956, he completed his university studies and eventually obtained a Ph.D. in Theater. Since 1974 he has been living mostly in Israel where he heads the Acting and Directing Program of the Theatre Arts Department of Tel-Aviv University. He is the translator of Péter Nádas's A Book of Memories (with Ivan Sanders), The End of a Family Story, Love, and A Lovely Tale of Photography, as well as Tranquility by Attila Bartis.
