Gerald Cubitt

Gerald Cubitt was born and educated in England. He received an Honours degree in Modern History and Political Science at Trinity College, Dublin. Gerald spent several years in Kenya developing his interest in natural history and wildlife photography. Gerald Cubitt was born and educated in England. He received an Honours degree in Modern History and Political Science at Trinity College, Dublin. Gerald spent several years in Kenya developing his interest in natural history and wildlife photography. From there he transferred to Cape Town in South Africa which has been his base in more recent times. He produced a series of Africa wildlife photograph books from Struik Publishers; this led to two major Readers Digest projects involving extensive travels throughout southern Africa. Gerald worked with William Collins for Wild India, a first of its kind. This was followed by contacts with John Beaufoy Publishing and a wide series of books on Southeast Asia and New Zealand Gerald has more recently extended his photo travels to the Antarctic, Australia, Northeast Asia and the Arctic region.
