Fred W Kolkhorst

Professor Emeritus Fred W. Kolkhorst received his doctorate in exercise physiology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. After several years on the faculty at the University of Northern Iowa, he accepted a similar position at San Diego State University from where he retired. He has received several teaching awards, and he initiated and is former chair of the Exercise Sciences Education Interest Group for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
