Douglas

Douglas grew up in a small village near to Nottingham. Although he was one of five children, he was a solitary child loving the freedom of the countryside and marvelled at nature and the universe. He admired the English writer and poet, John Clare with whom he had great empathy. He continued to write until the morning of his death.
