For the past seven years she has been battling for the laws about assisting suicide to be reviewed. In September 2009 her long fight was finally rewarded when the court ruled that the current lack of clarity is a violation of human rights. In March 2010 the Director of Public Prosecutions will issue a clear policy on when prosecutions can be brought in assisted suicide cases. See less
