David P. Varady is professor in the School of Planning, at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning--University of Cincinnati. His many books include Desegregating the City: Ghettos, Enclaves, and Inequality; Neighborhood Upgrading: A Realistic Assessment; and Selling Cities Attracting Homebuyers through Schools and Housing Programs.
