Charla Sheffield is a marketing executive and has been a patient of Dr. Brown's since 1996. She is a cancer survivor and has extensive patient experience at managing through the complexities of the current health care system. She has an executive certification in negotiation from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in marketing from the University of Phoenix, and a BA in organizational management and human relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Of mixed heritage, she is a long-time youth mentor and advocate for Native American elders. She is active in her church, an avid reader, and hospice volunteer. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, four children, two grandchildren, two cats, and Bella the chiweenie.
