His love of history and family lore about his Native American genealogy and stories from his tribe's elders have led him to this project. The book was started by his elder brother, John, who passed away in 2018. This book is meant to be a resource for future generations to learn about their tribal heritage and cultural integration that occurred as a result of a chance meeting at Kettle Falls. What could have been a near-tragedy became a complex multi-generational history that even today is revealing new elements and pieces that continue to add to the story. See less
