Adam Smith

Adam Smith (1723- 1790) was a Scottish economist and philosopher. He is widely regarded as the father of modern economics and a key figure in the development of classical economics. Smith's influential ideas on free markets, the invisible hand, and the division of labor laid the foundation for economic theory. His works, including The Wealth of Nations, continue to shape economic thought and policy to this day.
